Moore River Boys trip
Submitted by Rosco on Sun, 2010-01-24 20:50
Took my mate and his two boys to Moore River for a boys overnighter on Thursday and Friday. Pretty windy but they still caught fish, went sandboarding and swimming. They saw some great wild life including Black cockies, Hawks and an Eagle. Still a great place to get away from it all and only an hour from Perth. They caught Bream, Grunter and even a Tailor in the river.

Looks like you were a lot more comfortable in that tub than the old one out at tantas this year, can see why!

He knew
Yeah there was a bit of KISS Big John. Normally whispers the Bream up. You are right about being more comfortable Adam. Great bit of shelter up front for the kids and when the clears are on it is dry as in any conditions.
Going to hit the Big Blues in the Swan tonight.

Rock bars
How many rock bars did you hit? I only took a boat up there once, A river best kept for Yaks. in my opinion.
By Hook or Spear, its all good..

No rock bars mate
No rock bars. You do have to know the river and before the 5 knot signs went up it's normally flat out all the way. Some parts are 5-6 metres deep but most is between 1-3 metres.
