Ever since getting the boat in the water, had an issue with water getting in the bilge. Finally, sussed the problem being at the back of the keel where a bodge job was done prior to my owning the boat. Got her off the trailer, bogged and glassed up the hole in the keel and gelcoated the finished job. While at it, repositioned the wheels on the trailer so I could put the boat further back and support the transom on the back rollers. Hopefully, get her back on the trailer tomorrow and in the water this weekend. Just in time for the s#*t weather.

Elbow grease.

Started pushing the boat off on to a 4wd tyre. Set the stern anchor into the garden, and then drove the trailer out from under onto another tyre (passenger). Quite simple really.

To my surprise, putting the boat back on the trailer was easier than taking it off. Made even easier by using a pulley on the cable so as to increase the pulling power of the winch.

Yeah, thinking of putting in at Maylands tomorrow and try out a new lure I just bought. I have a good feeling about it. I managed to catch a 42cm black bream just near Burswood last week! If I knew how to upload it I would.

Actually, that whopper was caught on the boring ol' river prawns. Ended up not going out today. Stuffed around the house today instead, pretty boring
