My best dhuie to date, to say I was happy was an understatement. Probably heard me from land. ;))))

Good onya Adam!!
Top specimen there. Dhuie wings on the barbie.
I think the boys from fisheries will be inundated with dhuie frames this week. I have 5 to give them (my dad has another two).
Well done on the PB. "Dinner time"
Did you get any footage? We didn't as I put the wrong tape in the camera (Doh!) I have some footage of an epic struggle between my dad and a big eagle ray though from the cybershot camera.
Cheers

Footage
No footage of the dhuies unfortunately, both of us hooked up at the same time and were getting smoked by them and had to focus on the task at hand.
I did get some footage of Tapout hooked up on a couple of sambo's before his jigs went walk about and also got some footage of Mav and Al getting their fellas onto a few. Also got some good footage of a 5 way hookup of Honsu/Rob C/Deefa and the boys on Nebraska and then the carnage of a cluster f*** no more than 3 mins later when the sambos decided to play ring a ring a rosy. ;) Wasn't much fun out there navigating between all the charter boys and big private vessels. Still tagged one that went about 110cm and one little baby inclose that went 40cm, just wasn't really in the mood to have my arms pulled by sambos, by a big dhuie, well thats another story altogether. :)))))))))

Cheers Guys
Thanks guys, we guestimated it to be around the 16-17kg mark, could have been more, could have been less. The scales we had on board only went to 10kg and it easily bottomed them out. What do you guys think it weighed? Check out the photos where Tapout and I held up both together, gives you a bit more of an indication of their true size.

The one in my avatar went 15.5kgs to give you a bit of a guide.
Hard to tell but could be anywhere between 13 and 16kgs for my money. The Gallash arm stretch makes it difficult to guage. You've only got little stumpy arms though haven't you Adam, so maybe 17kgs as a max.
This one went only 12.5kgs so the pic can be deceiving.

Bloody hell you go offline
Bloody hell you go offline for a while and look what happens, Ads starts catching bloody good dhuies. Whats the world coming to? So thats what that high pitched girly squeal was about the other day - cheers for clearing that up :)))
Awesome fish mate - congrats, although you still havent learnt anything. Hat and sunnies on and the big arm stretch (although you couldnt push that one out as far I see, bit big for that caper but at least you tried :)))
I would give it around the 15kg mark myself so well done mate now you get to move onto the next holy grail

Yep, screaming, hollering, yoootz's, all of the above, very happy that both of us broke our PB's in one drop. :) I'm not too phased about the 20 club anymore, that was good enough for me, but in saying that, I wouldnt say no either.
As for the hat n sunnies, I'm not phased. The fish was what counted. :)
