This was the biggest, Measured 1560mm, pushed to needle towards 40kg. I am very happy with my monster mesh after this one made me sore... Although some don't agree but, When you DON'T EAT FISH, this is more fun than catching Dhuies.... Cheers ruter..

Nice fish there Corza! It's good to see a few sambo reports filter through.
Local boys don't know how lucky they got it - some of the people here would pay big bucks and travel half-way around the globe just to catch something half that size.

Yeah bloody ripper of a Sampson, best to release them as there not much good to eat IMO would of put up a mighty fight alway like to hear fisho's releasing them after capture as there such a great sporting fish.
