yeah mako we thought it was only about 7-8kgs but went 10kg back on shore..we were quite surprised to be honest, i thought it was smaller than my bro's fish.
yeah same here john! this was actually the first time we've actaully fished south - initially the weather looked like it was going to get worse over the day so laurie reccommended we go south...well the weather turned out beautiful, so he was wrong about that, but spot on about the fish!! :D

nice mackie but you sure it went 10kg, doesnt look that big, but in saying that sometimes photos dont show the true sizes.
hopefully a few good ones venture into perth this year again

nah not the sand patch actually, john! all these fish were caught south trolling off wagoe! (the pyramid or sommink like that)

Cheers Jus, never done a lot of trolling south of Kalbarri. Most of my time has been spent between the mouth and the patch. Been a few years though.
