Yep
Spot on Jay, only got it from the states yesterday, so hasn't been de-virginised yet and doesn't look like today is going to be the day either with these howling easterlies. :((((
Poor old Honsu hired a boat up here for today, I do feel sorry for him. Could possibly be on his way to South Africa or Egypt by now.

Missus
What's going on there Adam?
Looks like the new pride and joy has taken over the missus's spot in the bed.

hahha
Very funny Big John, have you been reading my emails or something! My missus is back in Perth at the moment seeing her oldies, I told her today I needed something to keep me warm whilst she's gone. LOL!!!
As for rod, put her on an old 10-12kg stick I have which just folds beautifully for almost any fish. As for the PE 8, if your going to spend the money getting it, may as well deck it out properly. I got it off Ebay for 319 US with 45 US in shipping, so around 365$ US or $430 I think it was Aus, seller was thereelangler.
Honsu and his buddies have been getting onto some fish! I'll let him do up a report when he gets back, from what I've heard, GT's, Coral Trout and Queenies and no doubt others too.
Cheers,
Adam

Such a good reel - makes any
Such a good reel - makes any other feel second rate.
Although I think that rod you are putting it on might feel the punch and I dont like its chances. It might turn itself into a lovely new 2-piece, :)

hehehe
I'll take my chances, its almost due for retirement anyway. I've got a few backup options I can always use, but I just love the arc this one produces. Don't worry Gull, I just wont tighten up the drag as much as you, atleast give the fish a chance to fight back!! ;)))
