Great place Yeagarup, it's been a few years since I've been there but you can also get some big winter Tailor mixed in with the Salmon at times.

Sand got bloody chopped up with all the easter traffic , tourists just going for a run added to the traffic tenfold , Sunday arvo it was a struggle to get out of the place , the first big hill after coming off the beach , about a 200 mtr run across very soft sand coming up to a sharp crest had a lot of 4wds stuck , when we got to it there was about 30 cars all lined up having a crack , didn't see a whole let getting over it LOL , I had 5 goes before we hit the top , went down to 10-12 psi and in 2nd gear low range with the chev howling

yep, I just got back last night, yaegerup was ripper for salmon, 15 in an hour between 2 of us, the tourists are like flies to the west. we drove south to the southern river and there was no one around us all day. that hill run I had a good run up and plowed through having to slam second right near the top just getting over.
Fishing and catching are two different things. But i want to learn how to catch.
