get rid of that bow rail

Sat, 2009-11-07 18:08

and put a lower profile one on instead to make it more fishable, outriggers on the t-top and it'd be game on! Would be well suited to the warmer climates up north.

Mako thanks for the photo's

Must say the new decals looked great and the photos that you have posted are sensational, good fun day.

Huggy, the foredeck on this new 8m centre console is bridged giving almost 300mm of height above the rear deck, so the bow rail doesn't become an obstical, Under the bridged foredeck is a massive amount of open storage space, rod "beds" on either side to keep rods lying down on foam.

Decking it out with all the gear needed will make this a great offshore boat. Would be more than willing to take you out some day.

Just out today water testing performance before final completion.

A couple more photos

Fraser hulls

I very much like how commodore is using Fraser boat hull moulds for there smaller range because my grandad had a old MK 3 and it was one of the best riding boats i've ever seen.

just curious, how does it go

Sun, 2009-11-08 05:32

just curious, how does it go at about 8 kts with 15 to 20 on the nose. The bow looks a bit low. I do alot of game fishing and have fished in boats like the formula 233before which are great boats but at trolling speed with rough water you need your wet weather gear. Would be good to see some rough water pics or vid.
