Really? Its a very fast action and that grip is really for casting.
I was using mine at the FADs yesterday and slaying a few dollies.

Nearly as bad as the breambos with a rod for hardbodys, a rod for softies, a rod for topwater and a rod for bait.

Ahh you can always sub in one outfit for another, but if you're planning on topwater, then take the topwater outfit!
I did recently try doing without a 20lb caster and you can really feel the gap between my lighter casting rods and casting with jiggers, ugh.
