Tim you didnt tell you on the phone that you had a pic, your a bugga!
Is that mustard colour on the pin striping the same as the colour you were talking about on the inside where the pockets are? Does look good though, looking forward to getting out for a ride. Certainly am jealous, will make for a more comfortable ride than the old tin tub. Even though I must admit that had one of the best rides for any ali boat I have been on to date.
Just because Adam said the match ups in the comp were to do with boat sizes doesn't mean you have to go and change your boat. That's going a bit overboard isn't it? (hehehe)
With or without a bigger boat you are going to win the southern leg for sure mate, I'll be lucky to come home with a whiting.
The haines are tops and you will love it. Agree with Jimbo though that the Genesis hulls are very good for an ally, not that I'm biased or anything.
Geez Andy thats the last thing we need! Improve your catch rate by letting you get a colour sounder. Best we all have a private chat to the missus, wont have that sort of caper happening before the North / South comp! hehehe
I got in first Tim, you heard her, she's not worried as I usually get drunk and fall asleep after a days fishing. I did it at my sister's 50th birthday. Embarassed the heck out of her and now she refuses to allow me to go out if I have been fishing during the day.
Shame, would have been a good party.
Oh and Jimbo, after talking to Tim the other day I think my catch rate up north of the river isn;t going to make a blind bit of difference when I fish South of the river. I'll say it again "I'll be lucky to catch a single whiting down your way" Gully, on the other hand will clean up, that's my prediction.
Bloody hell dont bring me in on this one Andy I am yet to do the fish south of the river thing myself so all is new. Might have to take a bung or two out of the South boys I am thinking :))
Went for the Suzuki 140hp 4 Stroke. Everyone I know with them is happy with their performance so should be OK. Was thinking the 175 Suzi but that was just going to be too much extra that I could direct into Electronics.
Yeah John. Will do a Stainless Rocket Launcher and have ideas for a custom canopy too.
They had already done the bimini etc on this one and the next one in is going to be 3 grand more so I'll use it as is for now while I work out exactly what I am going to do.
Want to source some outriggers too so if anyone knows where to find cheap but good ones let me know.
Did the water test on the new tub tonight out of Mandurah and loved it. Probably more important than that was the Wife and Kids loved it. A very important thing when upgrading was her idea.
Pick it up Sat with enough time to get a few hours on it before the Fishwrecked Comp.
You could always see if she wants to suggest that you get some new rods, reels, terminal tackle and anything else fishing related while she is suggesting things you never know your luck

Miss It
Agree Andy. I love my little tin tub and will be sad to see it go.
Just that when the missus insists you get a bigger boat with a 4 stroke you must obey;).
