Very keen to try some deep water fishing myself, but I think I'll be shopping for a reel suitable for 600yds PE6 and jigging. Perhaps the bigger ocea jigger or the Accurate BX600.
on my stella 20000 which i use for jigging but i have had that down to a few wraps onthe spool so needed more line cap , i have 880m of 80lb on this one so shouldnt get spooled to easy
why cant you fish like a regular person and put up with the pain winding up manually from that depth, thats the lazy fishos way, then again thats the smart way.. that looks like a sweet reel Neil. hope your going to post a pic of your first fish with it so we can see what it can do

I have seen one of these reels in action on a Daiwa sponsored fishing show. They have pretty incredible technology.

Six kilos!
Stuff that Neil, sounds to much like hard work. You deserve all the fish you get fishing that deep!
