Yes Colin ,it's definatly a great spot, that bar is a worry on the run out,it's so long,not like Narooma where you can sit up in the throat and blast out when there is a lull,haven't had a chance to fish hat head,,where we got the marlin was nt far from the jial in 40 mtrs of water, we got 3 that day. saw the funniest thig ,we were fishing for cobia at the jail and a bloke in a small tinny hooked a marlin and it was greyhounding away from him he started his 25hp and was off after it all through the other boats ,what a pissa, the fish won ,it spooled him.
you guys certainly have eden sussed out, a great location that, i remember staying at the caravan park right on the beach, some top landabsed and estuary fishing around there too, some absolute monster flatties
