PB Pinkie
Submitted by hlokk on Tue, 2008-07-29 18:57
Caught last Monday (21st) with pgreen1 and shabba on a drift baited mulie. Fish was just over 60cm and just under 3kg. Not massive, that makes it easier to get another PB fish later :p. We all called it for a dhuie though as it wasnt doing any headshaking.
Nothing size caught on boat all arvo except one size pinkie (two pinkies were undersize by an agonising half a cm), but the fish turned on at sunset with 2 pinkies and a queen snapper being landed.

do i sence a dig there Al? i personally find no need for the first part of your comment, though the last line was fair and is all that was needed.

Nah!
Lets get this straight.
No dig at all, what so ever!
Words of encouragement only, and I'm sure Mat would've taken it that way.
Sorry I didnt ask for your approval before I posted.

I was pretty happy with
I was pretty happy with that, seeing as its my favourite eating fish, caught on my 'lighter' driftbait combo and about double the weight of my previous one.
The fish had a fresh octopus leg in its mouth as well as a cray leg, and it took a mulie, so it was really in the mood for a bit of variety that day :p
