Mini Wahoo by the looks

Cross between our wahoo and a small bonito. Very interesting looking fish. Do you eat them? Looks more like a surface trolling target than a jig eating fish.

Gotta love those Striper boats Jeje.

Cheers

pelamide power

hey Andy

This fish is very good to eat. It's like tuna.

This species is near Dog tooth tuna (same familly), but smaller ( max 12 kg)

You can fish it effectivly with surface trolling or spinning, but when they go down, you can catch them whith hight speed jigging.

It's very sportive fish, and in small line, it s one of the power full fight that you can find in france. Do you have some in your country ?

Cheers

Andy

More, striper is fredo boat. It's one of the best boat I never seen for fishing

I have lots of good time on, but it was nothing without fredo, who is a very very nice guy.

so thanks to fredo and his boat (which name is ALTER EGO) for giving me moments that's I couldn't have without them

Looks like a big bonito on steroids jeje.

What depth are you fishing in that location, and what structure is on the bottom (reef, wreck)?

John
