I love those floating pontoon fingers - especially for low gunnelled boats.
Better than (sea/river) bed-locked wooded fingers where you have to (literally) dump your mum on the deck at very low tide - actually did that with my mum the first (and Only) time I took here out - OOOO - sorry mum ! You ok! (I was attempting to sholulder lift her into the boat and collapsed )
Ah well, bit of excitemt for an 82 year old
Not so good for a high gunneled boat though.
Looks like some serious unabiguous instruction occurring!

The new ramps looks good except for the far eastern side ramp where the jetty finger sticks out , can just imagine a boat stuck up against the rocks soon . Security well , been there quite a few afternoons and night in the last week and have seen security patrols all the time , so hopefully it will improve dramatically
couldn't reply my internet server has been up & down since Sunday with technical problems, just posted the ramp photos & it went till this morning.
depost80 Bosun hasn't said anything bad been happening down at the woodie ramps, security has stepped up & Blue Shed is putting in cctv & aiming for public ramp
Colin2 know how your mother felt, I'd have to get down on all fours to get in boat, don't want to know how I got out on very low tide, but a volunteer has made ladders and very good now.
feral1975 one of the jetties near the rocks (not sure which one) apparently we've heard might be a day/night jetty for repairs?
With all the new plans for there, the club is worried about boat traffic launch/retrieve. Bob seen the plans and if it goes ahead will be fantastic for local business, boat stackers, marine repair etc.
