Only descent fish caught this arvo. Went for a quick fish on Pete's boat out from Hillaries. Beautiful conditions out there but no fish.

thats a nice fish andy. love the colours on it, b gd seeing them under water. what kind of ground do they hang on?

They do grow much bigger though. Check out Lukes pics of his queenie, makes this one look like a tiddler.
I find we catch most of them on broken ground in depths 40m plus. This one came from 63m out wide on a drop off. Ground was probably limestone / coral / sand.

There they beautiful alright, just look at those colours! Well done Andy. I never ventured out, got stuck at the vines resort having a few beers till late watching the mundean fight.

lovly fish
i love queen snapper i caught two at esperance a mounth back the biggest one i got was 80cm and the other was a baby like 30cm lol n they taste great aswell and put up a good fight
