A fair few were landed on

A fair few were landed on jigs on the trip. Pinkies can get fairly aggressive, especially when they're schooling up under the boat :p

The trout were the most hungry for jigs for the trip. A few dhuies on jigs (and large plastics and lucanus). Though a lot fell to well presented lightly weighted drift baits.

Snapper are a prime

Wed, 2009-07-15 20:05

Snapper are a prime candidate for Jigs and are fished for this way over east and in NZ a lot. More and more people are trying to target these fish on jigs in WA. (me included... I've only managed 1 so far)

Even when I have a floating mulie out the back in a berley trail, I am now in the habit of flicking a metal jig or soft plastics as well.
