Point Samson Causeway

The causeway at dead low... not much water, heaps of fish... still one of my fav land based spots.

I usually walk downstream on the mud a bit until the rocks clear. Enough bream, grunters, flatties and trevors to keep my fly rod busy.
Never got a jack there but I have never fished it at high water.

Don't bother fishing at hight water as it's no where near as good. For jacks fish from the rocks of the causeway.

mate i have cleaned up on threadies there on a few occasions, one per cast just about.  good solid fun!
