I planning to take this Thursday of to go out the FAD.
which Fad is it ? and what is the strategy ? live bait, soft plastic ? trolling

Haven't been out there for
Haven't been out there for 15 years (illness) went with BJ and ricey.caught heaps of salmon at west end then went to southern most fad.lots of ducks, rat kings pinching the bait and burly so I tried a small S/P with a sweetener and got that one, next 2 were on similar then 3 on deep rapalas.Ricey got the most it was a great day out.mix it up a bit good luck

Nice fish and still one for my bucket list.
I nearly got one a few weeks ago and did actually get it on board but unfortunately it slipped out of my hands, onto the gunwale and back into the water....gutted.!
It was taken on cubed mulies, had a trail going and one with a hook in it and taken quickly. Had no luck with lures but that's not to say they won't work on another day.
Anyway, nice fish and well done
My fishing spots are so secret........... even the fish don't know where they are !!
