How do you work the Lucanus
Do you just let it flutter like a taikabura in a rod holder, or do you actively jig.

I actively jig, varying the
I actively jig, varying the action depending on what's getting strikes at the time. In this case, the rankins were only hitting it when it was jigged quickly so I switched to a knife jig which was more successfull.

Bye the way a whopper of a Rankin.
Havent yet cinfinced the lady to go that deep, but we will get them. Made it to Madeleine shoal but she thought that is a long way to swim to shore. LOL
Got to love her and when you meet her you WILL understand that she is one of the worlds best characters.
