Red Bass

A mate caught this red bass the other day. These things pull like steam trains and I didn't think he was going to get it away from the bommie. The injuries on it's flank were caused by a big groper mouthing it on the way up. (Fish was released)

Thats a cracker of a bass. Spose the conditions up that way are about to take a turn for the worse again!?!

Yeah very ordinary at the moment in Cairns. Windy and hosing down rain. Bit more wind up north with the Cyclone. The wet season has to end soon!
