Released Dhuie

Released Dhuie

Released this 13 kg beauty as we had 2 onboard already. It took 64oz to get it down, lucky we were only in 30mtrs. I hope it survived as with the others!

when you go to get the hooks out. We use a large net to lift them in the boat and throw a wet rag over them, remove the hooks if possible or cut the line, take a photo and then put it back in the net and put them back in the water while we get the release weight sorted. We have doing this for about 18mths now and have had no trouble with any releases.

Releasing them is easy. Getting them to survive is hard.

GO BLUES.
