Just tip the shark on its back and it will nearly stop kicking itself about and if there is a chunk of wood close by let it bite on to it, there by keeping its mouth open for you.
Once the hooks are out flip it back on its belly and wind the wood out of its gob and its good to go.
Terrific catch from the beach and good to see it released in good nick.
nice terry there mate! prob the nicest looking sharks in the ocean and so cool to swim with up at ningaloo! hey i was thinking seeing it was a female and rather chunky for its size. la nina has put everything back at least a month atm, i know up in kalbarri that by the start of december we start seeing minimi tigers swiming everywhere and they get caught in the bridles of the craypots! maybe because of the lateness of the season she could have been coming in to feed before giving birth to some little ones! just a thought but seems rather odd that there are so many around atm but i could be wrong! what do you guys think?

Easier way
There is an easier way to pull your hooks out.
