Had a sweet day on the water today on the way out to rotto from Hillarys was bottom bouncing and seen off in the distance birds bombing so clipped some lures on and punched it in there direction . As we got closer we found ourselves in as far as you could see salmon frenzie . Every cast ended in a hook up with at least 20 fish chasing your lure and as soon as you would drop one another would take its place . After a while they went deep and it was all over . We then found new ground near rotto which was not on any of the maps and cleaned up with some 40+ cm black ass , pinkies , dhues , skippy , sarge bakers was none stop . Finishing the day with a troll back towards home in hope of the illusive mackie to make the reels scream but to no avail . Good day in all and love finding new grounds which produce even when it's been dam quiet out there . Friday is looking good for a FADS trip see how we go.
