Shallow water trout

Shallow water trout

Flicking plastics along shallow reef where you can see the bottom, awesome :D. Someone else landed a good several kilo dhuie from the same spot on another plastic (a really big slapstix).

Most trout were caught on

Most trout were caught on bait. Hardly any on bait. Pretty aggressive fish. Often you'd be on first pump, or on the drop. Another one on the last day smashed a raider on the surface from near some surface. The guy who caught it was really surprised how hard the trout pulled for its size.

Those Coral Trout certainly love a moving target (plastic or metal)
