Solo Snapper storm fish

Headed out on Sunday night in my boat for a storm snapper hunt. It was fairly rough but doable to start with but did increase as the night wore on. The sounder showed a steady stream of decent size fish but didn't want to bite. I caught a few baitfish and with a livie out my luck eventually changed and got a decent run, and after an unusual mostly surface fight a nice Pinky was landed. I nearly thought it was a shark or salmon because of the fight. Even though more fish showed on the sounder that was the only one landed. I packed up early morning and got hanmered by waves and spray on the way in but was content with my fish.
