Squidding today at Cockburn sound

Headed down south of the border today, to get some fresh squid for tea. Great conditions out there this morning. Pink and dark brown colours caught all the squid today. We caught 9 squid all up....Wade caught 9 and Claire ZERO. So much for girl power today Sandy and Roberta!

Claire how come you didn't fire up, I know Wade gave you the wrong squid jig wrong colour????? I know somebody else that does that to me, old fart gets squid after squid, me sitting there getting sh&^%$ty ha ha all in a good days squidding.

The missus and I did the same today. She only managed 5 of the 22 over about 2 hours. Very nice day on the water, although a short time.
You right about the colour Roberta. All I heard today, 'why haven't I got a flash pink one like yours?'. Hmm off to Oceanside tomorrow me thinks.

I did a gentlemans hours squidly fish yesterday in the Sound and we got our 30 squid.....a few stonkers too. The pink Yozuri doin the damage and the pink Breaden Shallow!
