SW Dhuie
Decided to head out for a quick fish early & attempt to avoid the holiday crowd with a plan to bag a quick 2 Dhu's then head in. Got to the ramp early but it was already chaotic tried to shoot away quickly but managed to gain a couple of taggers along the way, the plan was already becoming unstuck. These 2 boats would just follow my every move from 200m away even when I turned on them they scarpered in the opposite direction only to turn back when I did, frustrating!
Set a dummy drift over a lump that looked to be holding Sambo's sure enough they jumped on the same line & seemed to be happy with that so I was able to bail out of their reach & get to the mark picking up a Dhu on a Caprice Kid. Another smaller specimen fell to some fresh occy for the bait fisho & decision was made to release. Called it quits early after the clowns appeared to show interest again & a 3rd boat lining me up from a distance, major hate for this lazy pinging bullshit
Apologies for crappy phone pic, left the SD card out of the camera... bugger

Cheers BJ
Probably a case of entitlement perhaps?? ie. We are on holiday, paid x amount for accomodation, fuel for boat & car etc. some dhuie fillets would be great in offsetting all of that (however it get's rationalised) I actually thought of you blokes up north & how this would probably be ten fold in attitude

Nice one Wilson. Only have one of those orange and gold Caprice left now. Dhuies can't resist them. Wish Evergreen would hurry up and manufacture some more.
Better keep your eyes on yours because it might just go walkabout.
Time to dig the sinkers out for those pinging tourist.

Watch it mate I will be doing a Wilson over your fence if my last orange Caprice goes walkies! (only have 2 left in shite yellow). I will be watching the thread on the burley gun with keen interest.
Weather was good today Patto but that sou wester swung in quicker than Gary Glitter's head driving past a school. I have a couple of days off next week so I am hoping for the forecast to improve a bit

Nice work Lamby. Quality fish on jig mate, I'm itching to get into that style of fishing when I come back. Shame out the pingers, comes with the season I guess.
The best reason for doing what's right today is tomorrow.
