The thin yellow bit is the tag. the bit with the tip pointing towards the wrist. On the right is just growth, algae maybe. and then the 4 wormlike things are also growth, they too look like some sort of algae.
Tag isnt much bigger than a toothpick (in diameter), its just that its been used as something for the algae to attach upon.
tags that are left in there sometimes get growth :)
There were tagged sambos that were raised, picture taken, and about to be tagged... when the tagger just realises, oh theres already one there, haha! because its grown with algae...

What on earth are those things? Tags? Tags off what? Surely they are not tags out of a fish?
