Exciting times ahead John. You must be feeling like a kid at christmas
If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

hahah Scotto......one of the downsides of getting a BW is you get a black anchor with it, as Merc own BW.....not my favourite motor, but its only done 46 hours, so heres hoping.
My mate has twin 225's on his BW and he has had a great run out of them, but agree, it was not my first, second or third choiuce....haha. But after hopping on board a BW 235, I was sold.....you cant always have your cake and eat it too.......

Absolutely
Nothing wrong with Verado mate. Can't believe they're at all associated with merc! I would personally put them (Verado, NOT mercury) above Yamaha and Suzuki.
dads 200 Verado (on a 660 trailcraft), does from woodies (with a bit of squidding around the sound first), to Parker point and back, with a 26knot average, and uses sub 30 litres. No shit.

Can't buy it myself.
A certain FW member's Verado drinks a bit compared to the jono/zuke he had prior and it is so much louder.
Another, they did the supercharger at 20hrs.
Maybe you just got a good one.

Well, verado it is, for good or bad. I will be doing all servicing myself so at least I will know it's done properly and regularly.

Not shrink wrapped?? Lol!
Don't worry about the Verado mine's been really good to me. Yes she could drink less and not snore so much, but all in all, she's been great.
