By a thread!

When the fish came up, the assist was completely twisted up on itself. Hanging on literally by a thread! Good thing is strong thread inside those assist cords.

But what is the blunt rusty yellow marked knife. Is that the Ikki tool?

But yes it is my bait knife.  My old man made it from a power hack saw blade and it is usually super sharp.  The shape of the tip of the knife used to confuse people as to which side the cutting edge was and after a few mishaps I painted the yellow strip on the top to help distinguish the top from the cutting edge.

Wasnt being cheaky at all. Thought it was something but it looked a little odd. Thought there must have been a history to it.

Cheers
