Ummm, well this was ordered for the Exxy comp but unfortunately didn't show up until today. Dropped a donkey of a black marlin that made me hurt for 20 minutes and also had a small one up late in the day that didn't stay connected. :(

We planned the comp for this time of year so the weather would be like this, which it normally is. Its just unfortunate that when we wanted it, it didn't show. :( Last Wednesday was superb, now today and tomorrow and a few days next week are showing to be like this. Just proving that its not our fault, just the weather wasn't meant to be.

I think i might take responsability as the arvo we arived was a glass off then it has blown everyday we were there untill we arived home last night. With timeing like that i can only asume its our fault.

Fishing comps and good
Fishing comps and good weather don't go in the same category. Just had our thready comp on Saturday to be greeted by 15knot south easterlies and pissing rain. The minute we put the presentation off for a week the rain stopped. Go figure that one out.

Webby and I officially apologise to everyone for the crap weather, we even apologise for the rain that came, it must of come from Karratha cos it hammered down while we where away.
We cannot promise however that we will not return next year so if you see us on the entry list, pack the Penn Internationals loaded with 37kg, a box of Ansell's finest and head to the beach for some LB fun :)
This is why it's called fishing not catching, it's no better here this weekend either. i'm all for the neap tides too next year.

Bruce, I'm really concerned what you and Webby are going to be doing with Ansell's finest. That may be a fishing trip with you guys that I will be happy to be not invited to :D

Long way
Man thats heartbreaking!!!! Just a quick window was all we asked.
Made up for it when we got home. Went straight to the abrohlos and took our frustration out on some awesome trout, baldies, dhuies and solid mackie on way home. Should have gone 6okm west rather than 11hours north.
All good. Was good to meet some other FW members. Well done to all the winners!!!
