Don't think it's a Boxfish
i caught one off the North Mole years ago when Bonito fishing - identified by for me by a diver. It was more square looking and very hard like it had a solid skeleton under the skin - tail looks different too. Strangely i decided to keep it and try to dehydrate it as a curiosity - a couple of hours after i laid it on a rock some spot crowding walloper kocked it into the water - floated for about 30 seconds and swam away.

PSEUDOBALISTES FUSCUS
Yellow spotted trigger. Adult colouration. Juv colouration shows yellow spots. Grows to around 50cm
Found ningaloo reef northwards.

looks the same to me john,
looks the same to me john, looks like a trigger fish, there is a heap of different colours of that species by the looks of it

Fugu in a ballgown Big john. Fugu fight pretty good as well. They have caught me off guard a few times.
