Nice fish. My one and only wahoo was the same size from exmouth also.
Better eating than a spaniard I reckon.
I dont think I would want my hands that close to its gob though

Send some home!
Never tasted it! If Boltz is leaving Exxy on Thursday you can vacpac your long suffering parents a couple of fillets for when I get back from eating American catfish for a couple of months.

Wahoo
The wahoo hit a purple/blue soft grassy as it skipped out of the air so we saw the take. It hit the hook absolutely perfectly and didn't even touch the skirt and gave a blistering first run on 10kg. It hit the lightest combo we had, theres a tiagra 50 on bentbutt and tiagra 30 in the background.
It was all lit up at the side of the boat but a few accurate spikes soon changed that. Which is the reason why my hand is so close (don't worry, I thought about it carefully before posing for the pic)
They are top quality eating and I certainly rate them above spanish mack. We are having wahoo burgers for lunch tomorrow before hitting the gulf for another spearing mission. Don't worry Bruiser, theres a few fillets heading your way. ;)

We were trolling 8-9 knots for this one, we were going for billies and the conditions were rather sloppy, even though it doesn't look it in the photo.

Perfect
Didn't even touch a skirt, very lucky indeed. Hit the hook absolutely perfectly in the corner of the mouth which made it easy to remove. I think it had something to do with him hitting it in the air.
