Gave me a nasty sting, burns like hell for about six hour, the next day hand and arm all swelled up had to see the doc,now i just cut them of would hate to see a young child get stung i think they could be in a bit of trouble if out wide ,i have read they can stop a childs breathing so take no chances.

if you get stung by one then
if you get stung by one then cut an onion in half and rub onion juice on the sting..... helps with the pain immensly....... but you have to have an onion handy of course...lolol
cheers Jes
When you go fishing and you catch something, that's good. If you're making love and you catch something, that's bad.

oh yea
lol remeber when i got done, lucky i had a flask of hot coffee on board.. instantly eases the pain, if u don,t u can put ur finger under the tell tale water from ur motor, thats usually warm.. or you can piss on it.. last option haha
if u get a big one, the flesh is very nice.. but i hate the dam things, i used to catch alot of these fishing in close in the bay..gurnard bay

We used to get them in cray pots all the time .Other deckie got one through the top of his boot one day and was in pain for hours. We called them a flower pot. Italian skipper loved them for soup.
