Years back during a beach fishing competition I caught a stormy perch what would have beaten the then state record by about half a pound,mate said to keep it and weigh it in."No way,I don't want my name associated with a record shit fish".Blow me down if on the next cast I got one double the size of the one I'd just let go and there was no way I was going to weigh that one in because it would have been a record for years before anyone went close to it
