nice catch, gotta love the southern bottom bouncing. We ducked into Peaceful Bay quickly for a look and reckon it's worth a return trip. Did you get any dhuies?

Didnt get any Wirrah or Dhies, I do like eating the odd boot (wirrah). Only 6kms out in 53ms of water that came up to 36m. Most days only fished for 3-4hrs then got a feed of abalone of the rocks.

Not a bad life.

Nice mixed bag!

I have a few killer red snapper spots and a couple of queenie spots in PB. Haven't cracked a dhuie there yet though which bugs me.

But when you are kicking back having a beer and cooking some red snapper, those concerns tend to disapate very quickly.....

All the fish in the area seemed to be above average size. I dont think the area gets that much pressure.

Not yet anyway. if im prepared to drive from geraldton to the south coast it must be good.

Dhuie

Mon, 2010-02-01 18:41

I am sure you will crack a dhuie out of there at some stage, I seem to always get 1 or two per trip down to walpole (not per day though), often over towards rams head which is also accessable from peaceful bay
