when I saw that. Webby when I used to have luck down near mandurah I fully agree with Ryan. Used a net, shook the shit out of the net (Tried to scare the squid) and it would usually empty its ink. Then grab it behind the head and point it towards the water. If any is still left it will go that way. Then straight into a bucket with Sea Water (if used for bait), live well for live bait or sea water ice slurry for Yum yums.

PS Thats why I am trying to catch them, to use as a live bait under a balloon and see what happens.
