Great photo of that one, really shows off the colours. Most photos I've seen of blue devils haven't got the same clarity, that one shows how beautiful they really are.

have always wondered what this fish is

suppose i will have to stop calling them mardigra fish!!

would look sweet in a salt tank

i use to have a lionfish and he was the coolest pet ever!! when i released him at trigg island i followed him into the water and watched his chase the lil bait fish around

I caught one of them off a reef couple of days ago at prevelly beach with a hand reel hehe, it looked kinda deadly so I didn't eat him.

They have the most awesome white soft flesh ever. I filleted one up that couldnt be revived last time we were deep sea fishing down south. Used it as bait and turned it into a coupla nice black ass, wouldnt have mind trying a bit on the dinner table, but wouldnt kill one just for that purpose, only if it didnt make it back.
