Yeah mate nothing really different to what i or anyone else had. As long as they were 400gm plus they got nailed. SW lab were my pic and a few of the xoga boys loved them as well.
You got that right any thing that moves will work. But you do need it to be heavy enough to get you to the bottom. 450gm would be ideal for most situation i rekon.
Yeah funny enough most of the xoga boys were using cheap arse juro jigs you get for $5 or something and they were getting smoked! Once they seen some of the $50 jigs get lost, the cheapies came out real quick.
Yeah sam i hooked a massive shark on that! fought it for ages then got busted off when it was nearlly in view. Man that thing has got grunt. Dave took it straight off me and with the same jig nailed another shark of about 8 foot. around the same id reacon. Ebenone needs that rod in there collection. ive got some sweet ones of that loaded up ill post later.
Spess we were using cheap aree Juro jigs because we ran out of the 400g sealand jigs by Xzoga. Those bloddy finned buddies from the deep really cleaned us up. I had to go into The Tackle Shack to stock up for the second day!!!
Nothing wrong with the cheap ones dave i added up what i lost that day and trust me when i say i could have brought three xogas off ya!lol. Ive got heaps of cheap shit now!lol. hahahaha
errrmmm I don't think you would want to loose them for me as that would just mean you're back where the sharks are. I would rather stay clear of them and get some Samsons on board if I were you.
Yeah ive got a awsome shot of craig with a pe10 stick and a dogfight locked up on a sambo! Man hes stronger than he looks that skipper. You should see the pic hes got this rod loaded to high hill. Ill send it too him i think.

The MAX drag for that PE8
The MAX drag for that PE8 that Craig was using is 20kg and i rekon it must have been pretty close by the looks of the bend in the rod.
