Don't think you can fish it anymore ,
We use to pull some good Trevs out of there and some other fish but it was about 15 years since I fished it , I took this pic back in 05 when we went to EXXY to shore fish for Trevs at the Navy peir and oysters reef.

Big learning curve
Well we had never really fished BIG poppers for big fish off the shore so it was learn learn learn , thanks to the guy from bluewater that was fishing the peir the first night we turned up there , we did out homework ie tides moon etc and hit it perfewct but technique wise we didn't know what to do , he showwed us plenty , and it was a big eye opener , managed to get 9 trevs I think , hooked up to about 50 but it was bloop blop BANG,YEEEHARRRR whizzzzzzzzz snap ,oh shit anybody got any poppers I could tie on ???? I have just lost $200 worth of poppers tonight !!
Next time 80 lb braid , Stella or Saltiga on a custom rod for me .
OHHH and a shitload of big ass poppers :)
