Nice 62cm BBone from yesterday and a couple of reds. Only had a small window for diving as the tide was humming on the incoming and absolutely unbelievable on the outgoing (well for Exmouth anyway), the water went from crystal blue to the brownest brown within an hour. (Still stirred up due to cyclone Iggy)

Its a freedivers 1400 with 2 16mm (shortish) rubbers to a 40m reel, so the range of punch is, i dunno, 3-5m, but it does have more than that but of course - loses its power with range. That was an unlucky blue, I chased him for what felt like forever into a ripping tide whilst the boys in the boat waited for me to finish a drift dive, just as he was about to buzz off the boat came over and turned him back towards me, had one shot at him through a small break in the ledge and hit him with a vertical shot, was pretty stoked.
