Caught this one about 13nm

Caught this one about 13nm west of Mindarie on a favourite lump about 3 weeks ago. This was the second drop after pulling up another 12kg specimen. Not bad going for two drops. The third drop had a big fish (probably another Dhuie) but crossed lines with my deckie for the day meant it was busted off half way up.

What a beauty!!!

Awesome fish mate!!  And our skipper reckons theres no fish left out of Ocean Reef/Mindarie, now I got something to prove him wrong!  Excellent stuff - will put that in the photo of the month competition, definately a worthy contender for the DVD!
