PB 14kg Dhuie
hi guys been awhile since my last post but went for a fish outta gero on sunday... forecast was for mint weather but once outside found the going a lil more uncomfortable but pushed on regardless... was feeling really seedy after a mates 21st and a bottle of jacks the night b4 so was relieved when we finally arrived to be greated with fish all over the sounder in about 50m of water... drifted for a nice baldie and a nice pinkie so dropped pick.. was fairly quiet with the odd nice snapper and heaps of smaller ones coming over the side also landed a huge stingray and my first sambo so moved on lookin for some dhuies... sounding around a mates top spot showed very slim picking on his little patch but did a drift and both lost some really nice fish so was confident and dropped pick again... first drop hooked up solid to this baby which really gave me a workout on 30lb braid torium 30 and the live fibre texalium... was rapt at the size of this dhu and went on to get our bag limit of 4 next drop with a nice 6kg fish and a double header of 5-8kg dhuies which fought well again... headed in with the sea gettin calmer and calmer with a cold beer and me having a really lucky day...

yeah mate big difference but i will get back up that way again aye miss the lifestyle... i loved the pic mate have already had it printed and going into a frame as not many of these babys come along for me anyway lol
