Ok here is the pic of Claires fish, she caught up in Broome last week!  I told her to throw it back as it was undersize.

Nice Catch

Thu, 2009-10-08 07:28

Well done Claire,  Go the girlsLaughing

I have not out fished hubby yet, but my day is comming!  I spend too much time helping the kids bait their hooks and making sure that we don't catch kid fish while they are learning to cast.

Broome is a top spot and it looks like you are all having a great time.

Cheers!  They put up a great fight flagpole.  Quite a few head shakes then they go for a bit of a run. This one wasn't so bad to pull up as it was in about 40m. And the best bit is when you see colour you know it isn't a GT and the fight has been worth it!

Yup, we haven't been out

Thu, 2009-10-08 17:43

Yup, we haven't been out fishing in Perth for a while so at least these fillets will stock up the freezer while the ban is on. Came back a treat from Broome in a foam esky full of fillets and icebricks.

No commiserations to Wade though. He caught a smaller Red Emperor and released it - he's letting it grow bigger than my catch ready for the next time we return to Broome! No doubt I'll never hear the end of it when he does catch it!

Jeez Claire

You sheilas are making us fellas look bad... (hehehe)

Good onya, a cracking fish there, hubby must be secretly very proud despite his protestations about soaking your bait in petrol from now on.

Don't worry Wade, I too constantly get outfished by my daughters so I know how you must feel.

Andy, Just wondering if secretly proud means much when I saw him putting a pair of concrete boots into the boat the other night!!! Wink
