I notice the eyes don't seem to have popped out. It must have been a slower retrieve with the double header. All adds to the pain.

But a little baffled. Hows the fish being held? It looks like it is floating in space infront off you. Hand above with a mini-gaff, and a well disguised hand near the tail??

I've made what looks like a wool bail/ butchers hook in 316 ss for handling big fish on deck. All th deep cod have few places to grab as they have razor sharp edges. Works a treat for photos.
