We did the same
Golden Bay was great for the kids. My youngest caught a heap of herring, pilch, whiting, and a solitary gardie.
I just baited hooks and cast out for three girls. Harly wet a line.
A guy next to us caught two salmon on Saturday and then another guy next to us picked up one on Sunday.
Had fun with th ekids though so can't complain.

Hey Andy talking about rockingham by step brother went only 1km off the beach on friday / saturday night to land 2 mulloway at 120cm! Bluddy span me out for someone who doesnt fish alot. Looks like theyre around in good numbers at the moment.
