Frustrating

Fri, 2007-11-09 12:36

Still very frustrating trolling for 6 hours and only getting the 4 up, guess the new moon doesn't help much. By next week they should well and truly be on the chew and fired up, just by the time I am away down the coast working.

Second that Goatch

Sat, 2007-11-10 13:39

GAMEX is one of the best weeks of fishing. Forced to fish from early to late what could be better than having to fish all day everyday.

Was chuffed with that one too Goatch. My first in Ma Dingee, had a few other blokes catch em out with us before I.

Getting the connection rate up this year will rock. Found the fish but dropped alot 2007 (13 on the Wednesday).

Wishin I was fishin and only 500k's to the water..

Little bills

Sat, 2007-11-10 21:06

Those little bills can be very frustrating in my experience. They'll chew on every lure in the spread but they are bloody hard to hook.

I agree John, in the past i've had that happen to me and frustrating it is. Now i run Richter junior Oscar and the soft head "Grassy" and that has changed the raise/hook/tag captures.... big time!

LGS!

Sat, 2007-11-10 21:47

I use Mustad LGS on most of my hook rigs. Running 50lb mainly so they're very sharp and with a right drag setting no probs on the S/S
