Out whiting fishing off Swanbourne on Saturday when my line went off, took a while to get in and the snapper went 890mm, all on the whiting rig.  So I kept fishing for whiting, put a larger line out and scored another one the same size.  A great day.

Hope you all took precorchions if you were out snapper fishing in your tinnys tonight.

Some good weather coming through

 Had a temp alarm come on so limped home at 4 knots. No reason not to troll the shallows. Amazed that we picked up a heap of trevs, coral cod, baby trout and school macks in 3m of water trolling areas i certainly wouldn't fish if I had a choice.

 Magic easter weekend, not seen consistent weather like that for a while. Lots of baby trout and gts/queenies out at flying foam eating anything put in the water.

 Couple nice muddies from yesterday.

 Lots of fun on the jiggles yesterday. Not the nicest of weather but few fish biting. 

 Bit of fun in 5m of water. Not the blue bone we were hoping for though.

 I have a HDS live with the 3 in 1 trans, I bought the unit as the Navman which I was using as a plotter alongside the furuno Was outdated and  ended up dead.

I think I've got the placement pretty good so far, and all scans read pretty good but side and traditional start getting full clutter at about 10 Knt 

furuno still runs Wot 

my question is should I silicone it in at the height I've got it  to get rid of the air pocket at the front as I'm sure that's the reason.....or does it also need to go up or down  as well ?
