 Nice little land based feed this morning.

 First ktown night mission was a bit of a dudd on the fishing front, but we made it back successfully which was a bit of a mish in 15 knot south westerlies. Did manage to find troutasaurs lil brother so made me feel a little better from last week. 66.

 Nice lil 57 on the last drop / last mins of fishing which made up for the lost horse trout shortly before.

 Nice lil red from the weekend. Dropped a proper troutasaur at the boat trying to put the gaff in, must have been high 70s / low 80s, I don't think therapy will help me get over it. Oh the pain.

I've been a member for a little bit and i haven't really had the input i would like due to coming back from the eastern states and getting my shit together back home. The mix of doing a shit FIFO roster and having not much time to fish plus life getting in the way has had me observing in the back ground and looking at some of the members on here catching solid fish and giving some excellent advice along the way. (I've been frothing baaaad!)

Well the times are here to get back into some fishing coz i've just bought myself a new tub, i sold my 4.2 metre tinny about 5 or 6 years ago and have been boatless since ( and it's been Painful). hopefully with a better work roster and a new tub i'll be able to show some pics of my cathes and try to share some of my limited knowledge of what is working for me. i just need the weather to play the game on my time off and i'll be laughing. 

 Very tasty sized trout on the weekend for the missus, pure luck as the sounder was on the Fritz.

 Managed a few crabs this morning. Bit more windy than I thought it would be but all good.c

 Photo doesn't do it justice, but one of the biggest crabs I've seen and was definitely the sweetest. Only one for the day but more than enough for a solid taste for the 2 of us.

 Solid trev on 20lb on the jiggles, got well and truly stretched, was entertaining to watch 

 Did the Horizontal falls a few months back, not cheap with the plane and boat but can see why they charge it as its not a cheap exercise to run, well worth it in my opinion. Beautiful country.

 50cm trout, first sized one I've caught on a diver in 2.5m of water.

Got this guy Sunday morning along with some others that had the dark blotchy pattern that i have seen in Sambos before.

Is this just a Sambo with a different variation in colour or something else? Amberjack maybe?
